Arithmetic of Pharmacy

Arithmetic of Pharmacy is poignant, but at the same time very educational. The author highlights the importance of friendship in the midst of hardship. The only part of the story I dislike is the sad ending.

Lead from the Middle: 5 Courage Activators for Business Leaders: Power innovation, ignite brilliance, open dialogues, get teams jazzed, overcome fear and complacency

Mind Karate: How to Kick Your Own Butt

I found Mind Karate: How to Kick Your Own Butt interesting but disjointed and difficult to follow in a coherent manner. Well researched and well documented.

Bear Goes Shopping (Volume 6)

This is not the usual imaginative crime for an Eve investigation, but still a good read. I missed the supporting characters in Bear Goes Shopping (Volume 6) too

Methods in Zone Electrophoresis

I read sci-fi as much for the settings as the stories. Swarm delivered both fairly well. I read Methods in Zone Electrophoresis at bus stops and in waiting rooms and pretty much plowed straight through it. Good pleasure reading.

It's a Banner Year

Loved It's a Banner Year, loved the trilogy loved the author and loved the ballads within It's a Banner Year although the betrayal made me sad I still loved it.

Alley Farming in the Humid and Subhumid Tropics: Proceedings of an International Workshop Held at Ibadan, Nigeria (Idrc, 271e)

Alley Farming in the Humid and Subhumid Tropics: Proceedings of an International Workshop Held at Ibadan, Nigeria (Idrc, 271e) was a good read and a good time filler in between reads. Short but enjoyable but you cant beat the free price!

From Isolation to War: 1931 - 1941

From Isolation to War: 1931 - 1941 was ok, but left me thinking it was kind of gross and weird. The ending was a nice little twist, and it was a quick easy read, but not the greatest thing I've picked up. I didn't really like or connect with the main characters and couldn't understand the appeal of the relationship between the two. If you have nothing better read, go for it, otherwise pass on it.

The Adventures of Bana the Bunny

Wahida hurry up with The Adventures of Bana the Bunny I can't wait to read the sixth book. This is just a tease. Please hurry up.

Insider Trading: Regulation, Enforcement, and Prevention (Securities Law Series)

Anyone familiar with 50 Shades won't have to read any further ! LOLI'm married and looking for new way to show my appreciation to my honey, and so I bought Insider Trading: Regulation, Enforcement, and Prevention (Securities Law Series). Sadly nothing new here...maybe for those who have very little experience, but it's not a resource for new tricks.

Rationale of Punishment (Patterson Smith series in criminology, law enforcement, and social problems, publication)

The zeal and practicality of Rationale of Punishment (Patterson Smith series in criminology, law enforcement, and social problems, publication) can't be beat. There are some great tips here that we are going to put into practice immediately.

On Not Being Able to Paint

Loved On Not Being Able to Paint!! I couldn't put it down!! Callie and Kayden find love and each other through their separate tragedies. Their journey is heart wrenching and beautifully written. The characters are well written and the story is that of friendship and love. The ending definitely leaves the reader wanting more!!

Picasso: From Caricature to Metamorphosis of Style

loved the idea of using large prints for quilts and Picasso: From Caricature to Metamorphosis of Styles has some fantastic projects. Its also nice to have a go to book, saves time searching for the pattern among your magazines.

The Pharmacology of Chinese Herbs

The Pharmacology of Chinese Herbs begins a little slowly, but picks up speed quickly until the end approaches at a rapid pace, and concludes to soon. Even though the story follows a rather predictable path, it is handled well and is kept interesting. I am looking forward to the other books in this series. I would recommend The Pharmacology of Chinese Herbs to anyone that enjoys a good story.

Help Yourself: A Revolutionary Alternative Recovery Program

I went to read Help Yourself: A Revolutionary Alternative Recovery Program and didn't find any interest in it. I know someone else will find interest in it!

Encyclopedia of Chromatography, Second Edition

I liked the basic story. Since I haven't read one in a long time, It was fun to read a real spy thriller. The names in this story really tripped me up. I couldn't keep up with who the characters were, thus coloring my opinion of Encyclopedia of Chromatography, Second Edition. I stayed at a loss figuring out who was talking to whom.I wouldn't suggest reading Encyclopedia of Chromatography, Second Edition.

Story of Tobacco in America (Chapel Hill Books)

Any person can get into a Cessna 182 and take off - it is the landing that requires skill. So it is with covered calls. Anyone can buy a stock and sell a call to create a covered call. What happens next requires skill. This skill set is described in Story of Tobacco in America (Chapel Hill Books). Don't even think about trying to sell calls on your stock positions until you have read Story of Tobacco in America (Chapel Hill Books).

Nate the Great Collected Stories: Volume 2

this is a fast 'ride' right from the beginning. There is a mystery in every conversation. One never knows who to trust or who will be the next villain. The love story in the middle of it all adds to the humanness of Nate the Great Collected Stories: Volume 2. The 'hero' is not really a hero but a guy trying to figure it all out and survive while doing it.

Italian-American Holiday Traditions: Celebrations and Family Entertainment

I think Italian-American Holiday Traditions: Celebrations and Family Entertainment was quite unusual and definitely good food for thought. In particular at the end when the main character began to see things from her sister's perspective.

Briar Rose

Can one call Briar Rose read via Kindle a page-turner? Should one call it a scroll-downer instead? Briar Rose was absolutely amazing! I hear there is going to be a sequel. Thank goodness for that. I have to know what happens next with El, George, Millie, Patrick, and even Jamie.
